The Asiamoney Headhunters Poll 2008 just over a year ago saw Matthew Hoyle of Matthew Hoyle Financial Markets make his debut by going straight in as Asia's (ex-Japan) 3rd Best Headhunting Executive. As a firm, Matthew Hoyle Financial Markets (then known as Matthew Hoyle International) came in as the 11th Best Headhunting Firm, Asia (ex-Japan).
A very good achievement for a boutique headhunting firm that had only set down a strong presence in Hong Kong for a little over a year at the time.
Fast forward to 2009, since their inception in the last quarter of 2006, MHFM have not only changed their name but they have more than doubled their manpower and more than tripled their revenue - a tremendous success that now shines in the results for this year’s Asiamoney Headhunters Poll 2009.
Matthew Hoyle has triumphed in being voted into 1st place as the Best Headhunting Executive in Asia (ex-Japan), ahead of Alice Liu of Lionrock International who maintained her position at No.2 and pushing May Koon of Global Sage and last year's winner of the top spot down to 4th place.
As a firm, Matthew Hoyle Financial Markets was voted straight in as the 2nd Best Headhunting Firm in Asia (ex-Japan), up from 11th place last year. However, the story of their success hardly ends there.
Across a wide range of different product areas within recruitment and executive search, Matthew Hoyle and his firm have been voted into either 1st, 2nd or 3rd places with only one exception that sees him in the top 10 as 8th Best Executive in Japan.
